Fully furnished room in lower level of house. Keeping things clean, complying with composting and recycling are important; we try to live as zero-waste as possible. Quiet vegetarian household (so no meat cooking, please). You don't have to be vegetarian, just respect and comply with house policy. Scent-free please due to allergies (unscented cleaning products, most organic shampoos are fine as they are scented naturally, not artificially. Share kitchen and bathroom with one other. Suits responsible grad students, researchers or employed people (male or female). Participating in chores is a must (including raking leaves and shovelling snow as necessary -- if sidewalks not shovelled by 10 am, the house can be fined $250!). Street parking, on #7 and # 25 bus route, bike storage in garage (biking distance to UBC). Walking distance to shops, forest trails, tennis courts. Just up the hill from Kits (near Dunbar/West 20th). $1190 (until end of August) includes wifi, use of laundry and utilities.
