Available December 1st. Rental is for minimum 4-5 months perhaps longer. This is a live in situation (female only). The House Mother will reside on the female-only floor and use the shared female kitchen and bathroom. There is a men's only level as well.
Must be retired or semi retired or working from home or working only part time as full time does not work with this situation. I am willing to offer reduced rent for a person who has experience managing people or being having been experienced to keep an eye on my lovely shared accommodation for students/young working professional house for me in my property near Kingsway and Victoria. It would help if you were handy and or practical as well. Looking for a friendly person who is responsible and would like to be oversee a nice home in exchange for approx. $1000 down to $350 (Furnished room with double bed and desk/dresser/big closet/flatscreen with tv provided) internet and shared phone. ** Rent does not include per month for a shared supply fee or utilities. Laundry on site. I am the Owner and I live there as well, but I am frequently away as I travel for business, hence why I require some support.
Prefer someone who has a fair amount of free time (work from home, semi-retired) as I would like a bit of a 'presence' in my home. Cannot work outside of the home full time.
This is NOT a party type house.
This would mean being there to keep an eye on the house and property and the Lodgers (when you are home) and enforcing house rules/chores doing some cleaning *(as they are required to clean up after themselves) and straightening. Showing rooms and doing inspections on occasions and cleaning rooms if required plus taking out garbage in common area daily ... these are long term type rentals to quiet student/ywp types. So being home most/several evenings would be desirable and Sunday afternoon/eve is a must.
So some cleaning and yard work required (*by all renters not just you) and keeping an eye on the house and grounds and occupants.
Clean, friendly and well organized easy going and not a super 'bossy' type person but someone who can supply information to the Owner on a daily/weekly basis and ask for direction as required.
Must have good references. Nice bright house with 3 baths and 3 level home great location close to Trout Lake Park and Commercial Drive and downtown and Metrotown.
